Words cannot express how much we have missed gathering with you in person during this season of quarantine. Our prayer is that your love for Jesus is deepening during this time and that we will all come back from this with a greater appreciation for the need for fellowship with other believers. We have been praying about what reopening our physical gatherings should look like and planning a timeline that is intentional and easy to understand. Some things we have kept in mind as we planned are:
· The call to fellowship with other believers. Online fellowship is a good complement to our ministry but not a complete alternative.
· The responsibility to love our people and protect our more vulnerable population without making them feel left out of church life.
· The need to follow guidelines from civil authorities whenever possible.
· The call to be a witness to the love of Jesus in the practical steps we take and in the way we talk about reopening. We want our speech to be gracious and seasoned with salt.
· The need for a wise plan with realistic timing. We don’t want to jump in too early and have to keep readjusting if the virus spikes again in our area. We also need time for our team to get safety protocols in place for reopening our physical campus and to get our live stream equipment up and running for our online campus.
I. Phase 1: Beginning July 5
a) July 5 – Summerfest Tailgate Fireworks Celebration (7:00 p.m.)
b) July 12-26 Online (9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.) and Outdoor Tailgate Worship Experience (6:00 p.m.)
II. Phase 2: Beginning August 2
a) We will ease back into gathering inside for worship during Phase 2, based on the Governor’s percent of occupancy allowances for worship at the time. We will encourage Connect Groups to meet. We will use Unfiltered Café for overflow.
i) Services will be available both online and in-person (9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.).
ii) Unfiltered Café will remain closed.
iii) Trinity Kids will provide interactive worship bags (disposable) for each child.
iv) Trinity Student Ministries will resume meetings in outdoor spaces and online.
v) Trinity Fitness can resume classes.
vi) Between services, the building will be cleaned according to CDC guidelines.
vii) We are not requiring that you wear a mask, but please feel free to wear one if you feel safer with one on. (You might consider wearing one until you get seated in the auditorium.) We anticipate dismissing you in groups to minimize the movement in exiting.
viii) We will encourage social distancing at all times. In the worship space, chairs will be set up to allow for distancing.
ix) We will not pass the offering plate, but will have giving boxes at the back of the worship center for your convenience. We encourage you to continue to use the online/text options to give.
x) Hand sanitizer stations will be available.
xi) If you are not feeling well or are unsure what to do with your children, please watch online.
xii) If you have health concerns of any type that put you in an at-risk category or you are immune compromised, please continue to watch our services online.
xiii) If for any reason you do not feel comfortable meeting with a room full of people who may or may not be wearing masks, please continue to watch our services online.
xiv) If…well, you get the picture…please continue to watch our services online!
III. Phase 3: Beginning September 13
a.) Services will be based on the Governor’s percent of occupancy allowances for worship at the time.
a. We will reopen Trinity Kids/Student Ministry services with new guidelines. We will not be offering Recharge for Trinity Kids at this time.
b. We will reopen Unfiltered Café with coffee service only.
We look forward to worshiping once again together in community. If you have further questions, please reach out, we are here to help in anyway we can. Thank you for your prayers and continue support as we navigate the days ahead.

Pastor Gina shares an update on Trinity’s response to Gov. Wolf’s stay-at-home order and what that means as we transition to the yellow phase and consider resuming meeting in our physical building.
MARCH 29, 2020
MARCH 16, 2020
We want to keep you as updated as possible in regards to COVID-19, and how it impacts Trinity and you.
We have postponed:
Trinity Kids Movie Night March 21 – new date to be announced.
FPU (Financial Peace University) March 19 – new date to be announced
Recharge Activities and Classes – Date to restart will be announced
Stay tuned for information on how we are going to still connect with our Trinity Kids and Students during this time. We will be sending out links and emails to parents on ways to stay connected.
How you can help:
Babysitting: we have a couple of needs for babysitting of school age kids. Let us know if you can help.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches: Ripple Community needs 100 sandwiches a day to help feed the marginalized as many of the places have closed where meals were provided.
Check in on your neighbors: Let your neighbors know that you are here to help, pick up supplies, or go to the store.
I also wanted to give you further information about the two cases of those who consider Trinity their home church. Neither were at the church during the incubation period. So we feel confident there was no need for quarantine for anyone who had been at Trinity over the last couple of weeks. Let’s be in prayer for all those who are affected by COVID-19.
The physical building may not be open, but the church mission continues to move forward. As your pastor, I am committed to helping us all walk the days ahead bringing light to the Lehigh Valley in whatever ways the door opens. We need your continue support as we move through the next few weeks. We are here to help you, however we can. If you have a need please call the church office, email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us through our social media.
I am lifting you up in prayer today and reminded that the way we fight these battles we are facing is in prayer.
